Nothing to hide, everything to show.

At Pyur, certification isn’t about red tape—it’s about trust. We partner with wineries & winemakers who share our belief that wine should be a reflection of its place, not a product of manipulation. Our process is designed to be straightforward, respectful, and rooted in documentation—not bureaucracy.

When you certify with Pyur, you’re not just joining a program—you’re making a statement. You’re signaling to your customers that what’s in the bottle reflects what’s in the vineyard, without shortcuts or additives.

What We Certify

Pyur certification confirms transparency in the following key areas:

  • Winemaking Practices: Wines must be produced with minimal intervention. That means no added sugar, artificial flavoring agents, or heavy manipulation techniques like spinning cone or reverse osmosis. SO₂ must be used responsibly and within accepted thresholds.

  • Lab Verification: All certified wines must provide third-party lab results verifying residual sugar, free sulfur levels, and a breakdown of key metrics that affect wine purity. These reports are made digitally accessible to the public.

  • Source Integrity: Wines must be 100% from the vineyard/vineyards or AVA/AVA’s listed on the label. Varietal makeup must be clearly and accurately disclosed. If additional sources or varietals were used and not listed due to TTB requirements, full information is published on our website.

  • Farming Ethics: While we don’t require organic certification, grapes must be grown without synthetic herbicides such as glyphosate. We strongly encourage regenerative, soil-respecting practices.

Why It Matters

Consumers are asking smarter questions. They want to know what they’re drinking—and why quality counts. By becoming Pyur Certified, you provide answers. You build trust. You differentiate yourself in a market full of vague labels and veiled additives.

This is wine with nothing to hide.
